Craft 4 Crafters is returning to the Bath & West Showground on Thursday 19th – Saturday 21st October. The event has a huge 170 traders has now expanded across two halls. We’re big fans of Jane Crowfoots amazing blankets, so when we heard she was teaming up with the fabulous West Yorkshire Spinners for a new project we new it was going to be special! The recently released ‘Indian Roses’ blanket is made up of a repeated square motif and half and quarter motifs to achieve a square blanket shape, and features some impressive crochet layering techniques to achieve a 3D effect on the flowers.

The blanket was inspired by Janes trips to The Green Hotel in Mysore, India and in particular some decorate tiles on a Victorian wash stand found within the hotel. The blanket is made up of 3 types of yarn from the WYS DK range – Blue Faced Leicester, Aire Valley & Bo Peep, which all compliment each other beautifully to create this aspiring heirloom blanket.
